Armed with the Pika Pika Hammer, Bakumaru goes off on a journey to rid the earth of evil. Early on in his journey, he meets a girl named Penny who has also left her hometown for personal reasons. Later, they meet a kid named Miles who, despite being more brash than Bakumaru and wanting to become a hero for the sake of becoming famous, is highly skilled with technology. After proving themselves strong enough to take out a criminal gang who have been terrorizing various towns and cities, Penny and Miles join Bakumaru on his quest.
