The Safari Zone is a fun place to catch rare Pokémon! But if you were like me, you might not have the patience to hunt for a specific species. (Not to mention that while playing, you start losing your cool after a Poké ball "misses" the Pokémon.) |
A majority of Safari Zone Pokémon are exclusive to the Safari Zone and
can't be caught anywhere else that easily. ...Or, can they? What if I told you there was a way to catch Safari Zone Pokémon without having to cash in a few coins at the Game Corner? |
The first thing you'll want to do is enter the Safari Zone. |
Once you're inside, go to the area that contains the Pokémon you're looking for. |
What you're gonna want to do now is walk through the tall grass until you find one of that area's Pokémon. After encountering it, run away! |
Now that you've escaped it, you need to end your game at the Safari
Zone. I recommend walking back and forth to use up all of your steps. |
With your time in the Safari Zone over, fly over to Cinnabar Island.
The next thing you'll need to do is surf on the East coast of the
island. |
Things might seem tedious. But with some patience and a bit of luck,
you'll finally find that Safari Zone Pokémon outside of its natural habitat. |
Since this is a wild Pokémon
battle, you're free to catch it the regular way by making it all
tuckered out! |
And unlike the Safari Zone, you're free to use more powerful Poké Balls like the Great Ball
or Ultra Ball to REALLY
inmprove your chances! |
